The name just doesn't do them justice ...

When it comes to wealth management, we've all heard of annual review meetings. So, what are these meetings, and why are they important in the world of pensions?
Your annual review meeting is a great time to see what's happening with your wealth and pensions!

I conduct 100 annual review meetings a year, with all sorts of clients, and they are a crucial part of the long term planning process. They are not:
Just a check on performance
A reason to sell more
A compliance tick box
A justification of your fee
A free coffee and chit chat with your client
They are the key moment each year to review what has happened in the world of pension, the world of the client and the world of the adviser. It's an excellent time to take a breath and see how your pension plans are looking, make changes where needed, keep the plan on track and continue to have faith in the process.
It's also wonderful to educate clients to help them understand the world of pensions and investments. I have never had a bad annual review meeting with one of my clients, even when the markets are down. They range from as quick as 50 minutes (if that's what the client wants) to as long as 3.5 hours. It is a case of getting everything achieved and leaving no stone unturned.

OAK WEALTH PLANNING
I am a whole of market Independent Financial Planner. What I do for people is to organise money so that people either make money or save money with the end result becoming more wealthy.
I achieve this through mortgages, insurances, savings, investments and especially Pensions, a subject I am especially passionate about. I am shocked by how little people know about such an important subject that has such a huge impact on their lives.
My mission is to understand where people are at on their retirement plan, then get them on the correct road to working less and enjoying more of life when they want! I use cashflow planning software to make this more visual and real.
