This begs us to ask the following question: Just how much impact and influence does our own Government have over your pension? Not only are the UK Government rules on pensions (with the FCA) complex (to say the least), they impact the way you set up, maintain and spend your pension.
"There's no surprise that the Brexit chaos in the UK is affecting the markets!"
And the Japanese government had their say about it recently, and countless other governments are all involved which affects the markets worldwide. This all impacts your pension fund. Even if you have a Final Salary Scheme, Government action (or inaction) could affect the transfer value of your pension if and when its possible to transfer to a personal pension.
To monitor Governments across the world and make decisions is clearly a job that needs to be done regularly. Do you want this job? It's best left to Investment Managers to do this. So, who is managing your pension? Are they managing it actively?

I achieve this through mortgages, insurances, savings, investments and especially Pensions, a subject I am especially passionate about. I am shocked by how little people know about such an important subject that has such a huge impact on their lives.
My mission is to understand where people are at on their retirement plan, then get them on the correct road to working less and enjoying more of life when they want! I use cashflow planning software to make this more visual and real.
